Richmond Senior Center: 

Events helper to assist at the various events sponsored by the center. Training will be provided.

Also, Bingo helpers to help call numbers and provide support during the event and help clean up afterward.

 North Kingstown Senior Center: 

 Two dishwashers and kitchen assistants. Training will be provided

Shady Acres Nursing Home,  West Kingston:

Arts and crafts aide to particiapte on a one-on-one basis doing arts and crafts with patients for about one hour a week.

Also a volunteer to speak to a group of veterans for about two hours a month. A speaker must be a veteran and a leader.

Also, two volunteers with licensed therapy pets to visit about two hours once a month each with their therapy pet.

Animal Rescue League:

Webmaster to maintain and update the ARL site. In addition to entering weekly updates, the webmaster will upgrade the site-editing software from Drupal to Dreamweaver.

Also, someone to contact volunteers, update their information when necessary and check to see whether they wish to continue to volunteer.

Fish & Wildlife Refuge,Charlestown:

Visitor services volunteer and trail monitor. The visitor services volunteer will greet and orient visitors. The trails volunteer will monitor trails for cleanliness and obstructions. Volunteers can choose their days and shifts (10-1 or 1-4).

South County Hospital: 

Computer-literate office volunteer for filing, copying and shorting duties. Shifts would be three or four hours in either morning or afternoon. Training will be provided. Benefits include free parking and a $3.25 allowance at the cafe.Welcome House:

Soup Kitchen volunteers to help with preparation and serving of food, cleaning up, organizing and planning.
