Most of my books I got rid of were outdated reference manuals and college textbooks. I usually donate all my old fiction/nonfiction books, we have a large book fair every year in my town and they take donations all year. Thus, step 2. ;-) That said, I like the less crammed look. If I did have more books, I'd probably have more bookshelves so I could have less books on each shelving unit. I used to have it all crammed before I cleaned them out, and I felt really claustrophobic. The bookshelf is in my bedroom, I need to relax in there! LOL, Axion!
